I have nearly two decades of experience in the healthcare industry. I started as a senior caregiver at a small-bed private residential facility in 2008 and quickly realized my passion for older adults and their overwhelming healthcare needs. Wanting to do more, I became a supervisor, certified by the State of California, to deliver medications to patients. Years later, I received my Nurse Assistant Certifications in California and Colorado, working with dementia, Alzheimer's, visually impaired, multiple sclerosis, trauma, and cancer patients. I worked in pediatrics briefly in San Diego before pursuing my education in healthcare administration. I receive my Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration in August 2024 from National University in San Diego, California, and will continue my training towards becoming a Licensed Hospital and Nursing Home Administrator.
